Gonna assume you were replying to me
and so I’ll throw in this link to the Wood Bros. doing Atlas in a radio studio just so this orphaned post doesn’t hang out wherever they go all by itself.

An odd occurrence to be sure. There is a missing (deleted?) link (post) somewhere, although it seemed that the archive somewhat recently made changes to avert this. After orphaned posts get bumped off the bottom of the archive home page, they can still be located through a search of a posters name. (click on your name and it brings up all your posts.)

Back to the subject of the Wood brotheres - I couldn’t tell you how many times I have listened to “Ways Not To Lose” – I never tire of it.

yeah, great album...i really like Chocolate On My Tongue. (good song too :)

They do a cover of Stealin' I really like, wanted to start a new post with it since it's somewhat dead-related but i can't find it on youtube...all I get is that 30 second sample from google.

so now i'm trying to figure out how people upload videos on youtube with just the album cover and a song playing.

Nice - I see you figured it out! While I certainly venture to other places on the internet, the archive is where I spend much of my online time – listening, downloading, and of course this great forum. I generally end up at youtube through a link someone posts here, and often get side tracked by other clips associated with that visit. How youtube works isn’t my bag – the energy it can take just to participate here is usually all I can expend. I sometimes wonder about the legal/copyright issues that must exist regarding the vast amount of stuff there, and how the archive feels about linking to it in posts. It sure can be a handy addition to a post.

The Wood Brothers probably deserve a thread of their own – their version of Stealin’ is great. For any following this conversation who isn’t familiar with these guys, their website has eight full songs to sample:

edit: oops, I now see that you did start a new thread last night!
